Marks for the qualification overall will be determined by aggregating module percentage marks in proportion to the proportion of credits that a module holds relative to the overall credit value of the qualification.
For example, the mark in a 10 credit module will represent 1/12th of the overall mark in a 120 credit qualification, a 40 credit module will represent 1/3rd of the mark in a 120 credit qualification.
A learner must achieve a minimum of a PASS grade in each module within a qualification to achieve a grade at PASS or above in that qualification. A Learner failing any module in a qualification will need to resit the assessment for that module and pass to achieve a grade at PASS or above in the qualification. The results of the module assessment resit will be used when aggregating marks to provide an overall qualification mark.
See individual module marking rubrics for the detail of how each module is graded.
